Nice addition to the base kit

Eduard detail sets are typically very high quality. These are no exception. They fit well (sometimes better than the PE that comes with the kit!) and also correct some inaccurate details or replace details with better ones. Be mindful that some modification to some parts are necessary so this isn’t for new modelers. But a modeler that has a few kits under their belt and looking at going to the next level, this is an easier set to add than other subjects. Definitely worth it to enhance the already very nice Kitty Hawk kit!

Great Kit of one of the most fascinating mecha design I've seen!

This kit is molded in color but painting will make it look much better. It is poseable but it is NOT a snap kit like Bandai's Gundam models (it requires model cement). Parts fit is rather nice but not as glamorous perfect as Bandai- a little bit of filler here and there helps. There is minimal ejector pin marks and very little flash (always a plus!). I recommend this model for those with some experience under their belt, but by no means is for experts only. If one is looking to graduate from snap kits this should work well. Edit: Started building more of the kit: maybe not the best for a first glue kit after snap kits. The fit isn't as good as I thought in some places, requiring slight modifications. The arm assemblies are quite finicky. But overall it's still a very nice kit that I'll recommend to anyone with some experience with glue kits.

Oldie but Goodie

This is a rerelease of an old kit and it shows its age. It certainly isn't bad, it just needs some patience and experience to get together well. If someone has those then it builds up nicely. Plus, it is an excellent base kit for adding details since it certainly could use them!
