9" Optimus Radiant Heater
3 of 5 found this helpful After surviving cancer and going through all of the treatments, I was left with some lingering side effects. One of them was very low blood pressure from all of my weight loss. Thus, I would get cold very easily. I wanted something that was small, did not have a fan blower on it, and was reasonably priced. This product met all 3 of those criteria. I have used it many times while sitting and watching TV. I place it about 3 to 4 feet away from me and the radiant heat still warms me sufficiently. I like the safety feature of the button on the bottom of the base. If it is placed on anything that is soft and not a hard surface, it will not work. Although it is only a 300 watt heater, it works fine for me. Even while working at the computer, I can have it on the floor facing towards me warming my feet and legs which always seem to get cold first. I love it!

Book was new / never used. Good resource for FRY.
This is I believe the only Fry Collector Encyclopedia of their glassware that is available today. I have found no other books, nor does any Fry dealer know of any. I really wish that someone had or could steer me to a newer version of the book for us Fry collectors. I did not have one of these books, but my sister did. She told me how to buy one, so I did. It is frustrating that there is nothing better or newer out there.
