7 of 7 found this helpful I have been doing my own gel nails for the last 8 months..I refuse to go to the salon..they drill..and have ruined my natural nails!!! I love the way the cnd shellac removes so easy. But I have been using a uv lamp that was cheaper..ok. results..but I wasn't getting 14 day wear and no shine. I read some information..if you use cnd shellac you must use cnd lamp..well I purchased the cnd lamp..wow what a difference..shine..shine..and after 14 days I removed it just because I wanted a new color..fyi...Must use 99 percent alcohol to remove residual tacky layer after top coat. Hope this helps.
