Caution when threading!
The valve is made of aluminum so special care must be taken when threading it into the gas tank and also when threading the gas line fitting into it...but I believe all sediment bowl assemblies for these Ford tractors are made of aluminum. The units can easily be damaged by cross threading. Just a cautionary warning! They could easily be molded out of steel instead of aluminum and be much more sturdy!

Well Designed!
The product is too expensive! I know that the Ford square can coils are not too reliable so if you want the advantages of better starting and never having to change points or coil again, then this is the kit to use. It is complete, well designed and easy to install. I know I could have stuck with points and saved a lot, but I do like the advantages. Besides, I like the 12V systen to freshen up my almost 80 year old tractor too.
