Wrong jet size, sloppy machinework, no instructions, but elegant design!
Used this to convert my (gasoline) PG5250 to a (tri-fuel) rig. Prior to installation, I had to lower the regulator bracket one notch to clear heat shield. After installing the new carb it ran flawlessly at first running PROPANE(via 30lb tank and low pressure regulator).. Bled the air out using the primer valve and started on second pull (no choke needed)! Also performed surprisingly well (under load) while running propane! Next I tried running on GASOLINE and it started easily as well... HOWEVER, it would only run steady with no load! Even a hair dryer seemed to be too much for it while running on gasoline(bogging and surging under load)! Clearly the "jet" that came with this carb was too small! As a result, the 224cc engine was starving for gasoline and bogging under load! So I simply swapped "jet" and "orifice tube" out of the original carb into the conversion carb(the jet and orifice tube are located behind the fuel bowl mounting bolt). Now it can run on either fuel source flawlessly. Haven't tried CNG yet but I'm sure that works too. Also swapped the "3/8hose barb fitting" for a "1/4npt x 3/8sae flare fitting" to accept a standard BBQ regulator and hose.. Upon removing the hose barb from the propane mixer valve, I discovered the female pipe thread was not cut straight or had been crossthreaded and could potentially leak! Re-chased threads with a 1/4" pipe tap to be safe. The metal boss or "post" for the choke lever was also machined poorly (a little smaller in diameter) so the choke lever action is very sloppy compared to the original, hopefully it won't break(feels cheap). I wont complain too much for the price.. with a little patience and persistence this carb is now absolutely perfect, and looks (OE)! Just be prepared to swap back to the original jet/orifice tube, adjust the regulator mount for proper clearance and check for leaks! If it came with the appropriate jet and proper machinework, hands down would give 5 stars. NOTE: Proper jet size for 224cc is labled #77. The jet that came with this carb is smaller and isnt labeled. Also note this is not an (OE) replacement carb for the PG5250B! The propane mixer valve on the PG5250B is mounted on the frame remotely(not on the carb) and has a fuel selector switch inline. On the original PG5250B carb both propane and gasoline hose barbs on the same side(unlike this carb) to accommodate selector switch. This is an aftermarket upgrade for the PG5250B(dual fuel) or PB5250(gasoline) that will enable the operator to choose between CNG, LPG or gasoline(with appropriate jet). Always remember to shut off gasoline petcock and drain the gasoline(engine cool) from this carb before connecting LPG or CNG or when storing for long periods of time! Instructions would also be nice.

Not OE form factor but still a bargain!
1 of 1 found this helpful The notch for the locking tab is too small on these coils so the connectors do not snap and lock when installed. I decided to use zip ties to ensure secure connections. After 500 miles, 2 of these coils began to fail after reaching operating temp. I was able to get them replaced for free under warranty. We shall see how long the rest of them last. For the price I may buy another set just to keep as run away spares!
