Satisfied
I had the paperback edition but it was difficult to read. Finally found the hardcover. The cover and reading pages were in very good condition. I'm delighted to have it as part of my Russia collection.

BOOK vs DVD
I was reading "The Fatal Shore" (Hughes) when I found this dvd. I would suggest this as a supplement (not companion) to the book. The book is an amazing documented history of England's puritanical ill-fated scheme to transport its "criminals" to Australia and thereby relieve it overcrowded penal system while establishing an island nation. The movie gets more personal detailing lives, based on another documented history, who were affected by the "transportation" prison term to the same fatal shore. FYI, my dvd is listed as "Region All" which, in order to watch, requires projection through a laptop. The film is a bit grainy but not overly bothersome and well worth the watch.
