Great Motorcycle GPS

There is absolutely nothing else in a motorcycle GPS that comes close to this for the money. The refurbished unit looks just like new and has a new warranty. I thought the lack of battery operation would be a drawback but so far it has not been an issue. The only time that I can imagine it would be bad is if the 12 volt plug would be jarred loose while in transit. I tried it by unplugging it with a route in it. After plugging it back in again I found that the unit had kept the route information so it is no problem at all. The only way that would become an issue is if you were to loose power to the 12 volt outlet. If this were for my car I probably would have bought something with more features, but for the motorcycle you would have to spend another $300-$400 to get a similar unit.

Great looking & inexpensive panel mount

I used the mounting screws to attach this cradle in existing holes near the center of the panel in my Ercoupe 415C. Easy to insert or remove and easily viewed or operated by pilot or passenger. Power cord runs up and across the top of the panel then down to a 12 v access plug. Completely legal, attractive, and Inexpensive way to add some much needed avionics to a 70 yr old airplane without cutting into the panel.

One of the best texts for aircraft mechanics.

I have the 6th edition but that edition hasn't been updated since around 1999. This new 7th edition has a lot of new and upgraded information. Brings it more up to date with some of the newer products and needed technical support.
