It will be put to good use taking sports, with the bokeh background. Shipping was super fast arriving 5 days before the notification date (Monday 5/13) from the Post Office, which was on my return date, so I took delivery on that Monday anyway.Very well packaged in bubble wrap and the original box as mentioned.Highly recommend this seller!

A great homage watch for the collection
3 of 3 found this helpful If you can't afford the $10k original, this is the next best thing! In fact, I would rather prefer this design over the Blancpain design. It's mesmerizing! The watch has a subtle elegance and that gorgeous, vintage styled bezel. The movement runs smoothly as you would expect from a Seiko watch.

An Unassuming Winner
Baume and Mercier is a quiet and unassuming company that doesn't get much attention, but they produce some fine timepieces that make for a great entry into the luxury market. The Capeland is a beautifully stylish design that fits the growing dress chronograph market. The triple dial layout is subtle, and while busy, very readable. That is due to the excellent lume on the hour and minute hands, helping them to stand out from the dial. The small dials and the chronograph hand are steel and can blend in with the dial, which makes it a bit more difficult to read, but it does not get in the way of the watch's main function, telling the time. The date window is a bit prominent, but I love date windows. They are essential to me. I'd love to see the date window smaller at the six o'clock position. Overall, the Capeland has great retro styling with modern sizing (at 42mm). It is a great piece to own if you can get it discounted (never pay full price for this!) and want something a little different from the usual horological offerings out there.
