You get what you pay for
1 of 1 found this helpful The gen1 Prius comes with awesome brakes. My 2002 went to 100k mi. before needing front pads and rotors. The factory parts are expensive, so at that point I went with good-quality aftermarket replacements. But for 1/2 the price they only lasted 1/4 as long. The aftermarket pads also bent the stainless clips they slide in, so I had to replace those. Never again. This time I bought the genuine Toyota parts. Materials and finish are clearly superior. The pads are super thick. I hope to not have to do this job again for another 100K. Make sure you clean and re-grease the caliper pins so everything slides nice. You get what you pay for.

Works good
Does exactly what I needed. The only problem I have with these is they only last about 7-8 years before needing replacement. This is the second time I've replaced my original. At least they are cheap and easy to replace.

Exact fit for my old Makita
I lost the chuck key to my old Makita cordless drill. It's got a handy clip on the drill that holds the key, and only this exact style key will fit in the clip. Jacobs still sells a key with this model number, but pictures show they have changed the style. I was thrilled to find these and they fit perfectly.
