John Denver - The Wildlife Concert Live 1995
John Denver has always been a favorite of mine...and on these CDs, he's absolutely at his absolute best!! There are a good number of songs I had never heard before, and now some are my new favorites! I can't stop singing "Eagles and Horses—one I'd never heard before, and now my new favorite. The lead-in to the song is fabulous! There is something for everyone—and his musicians are the best! You will find all of his hits, but there are also many new songs about love, and songs about US—as humans, and what we've done to the the earth, and all that lives on it—the entire planet—as well as to people around the world. Very strong stuff—that reveals the very heart of John Denver and his passion for nature and humanity. All the songs on the two CDs are so melodic, even his Rock 'n' Roll song—YES, John Denver even wrote and performed a very hard driving—get up on your feet and dance—rock 'n' roll song!!!! He even made a joke about the song in the DVD concert!
I also own the DVD of the concert which aired on on PBS a couple of years ago and is a must have!! This concert was made just two years before his tragic death—Much too soon! Thankfully, we'll always have his music.
If you are a John Denver fan, the CDs and DVD are a MUST for your CD and DVD libraries. SUPERB!!!
