Berkley Hot Line Cutter 2 AAA batteries and lanyard Instantly cuts and cauterize

Does not last.

This is 3 times I have purchased this item, and they only last aprox 10 times of use??? I have been told by the Berkley company that in May 2018 they will be coming out with a new model that is powered with 2 AA batteries.not 3 AAA batteries? They say that the wires on the inside are heavier and should not be a problem???? I hope so, as the line cutter is a great idea, but only when ( IT WORKS)???? I personally think I should get one of the new models for free when they come out for sale? WHAT ARE THE CHANCES???? I come from Maine and we have a lot of fisherman in our state,like me, that are probably not very happy with the old product. Thanks for hearing my side. Wayne from Maine

I just did in the last review.....

I have not had a chance to use this product that much, but I have had the time to compare it to a hard case and this case has so much more room than the hard case. It has the right amount of pockets for extras that need to be included to do the job right. Also having a carrying strap really makes it easy to carry to and from the job site. I would recommend this product to any one that has not tried it.
