Large Wood Handle Brass Magnifying Glass with Wooden Box - Magnifier Reading Aid

NOT for reading!

Well made, nice decorative piece. Brings out details in large objects viewed right in the center of the glass. Not good for magnifying photographs or for reading because only the center magnifies and the edges are blurred and distorted. Magnification is unknown, my guess is 2X. I collect pennies, it's ok for looking at the old large cents. It does not work for looking at details on an ordinary Lincoln Cent!

Maybe spend an extra 20 or 25% to buy a new copy instead of a used one that is really a 99% waste of $.

The product listing showed a package in "good" condition, but all of the discs are scuffed scratched and technically unwatchable. Some episodes play. The booklet was unread, so I read that. So far I've been able to watch only one episode that was not flawed.
