A fun romp in Japanese pop culture.
This was a fun movie. Based on a manga by the same name. The characters were goofy fun. A girl who loves wearing lolita type dresses who wish she lived in 18th century France meets up with a "biker chick" And the fun begins. Lots of J-pop references. All I can say is Great Fun!

The Hammer falls true to the metal.
1 of 1 found this helpful Hammerfall is a Fantastic 2nd generation (or should I say 3rd generation) metal band who hails from Goteborg Sweden. In the vein of metal greats like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Helloween & others. They bring back the sound of the older metal, but with a new, fresh feel.With the awesome traditional metal vocals of Joacim Cans, guitars by the equally impressive Oscar Dronjak & Stefan Elmgren, drums & bass by Anders Johanson & Fredrik Larsson. Hammerfall brings back that thrill we used to get when we listened to our favorite metal bands. The driving guitars, thunderous drums and rockin bass makes you want to raise your fist in the air and bang your head!
This CD (I almost said album, wow am I showing my age) is a collection of songs spanning though their "Ten Years of Glory". With a few new & live tunes added for flavor. I personally haven't heard a bad song on this 2-disc set. My favorites? If I had to narrow it down, one of the new tracks "Last Man Standing" is an awesome display that after 10 yrs. they can still bring the power. Next would have to be "Heeding The Call", with it's thunderous drum intro and driving guitars makes it a great introduction to any Hammerfall novius (which it is the song that hooked me). Also songs like "hammerfall","Glory to the Brave", "Crimson Thunder", "Blood Bound" and "Secrets" show the fantastic range of Joacim's vocals. Then add ballads like "Always Will Be" & "Never, Ever". And that's not even half of the great songs on this set of CD's
If you are new to Hammerfall this is a GREAT way to catch up to speed on this great kick-@$$ band. Highly recommended to any old school metal fan and new metal fans as well.

Exceptional anime series.
2 of 2 found this helpful Kamisama Kiss is a fun mixture of supernatural, slice of life and romantic comedy. The animation is very nice. Also the voice acting is superb. A bit of a twist on all the anime with a male protagonist having multiple girls after them. Here we have a female protagonist with several different male characters pursuing her (all for different reasons).
The only downside of this set (which has nothing to do with the anime itself) It is a 5 disc set. 3 dvd and 2 blu-ray discs. I purchased the set for the blu-ray, and there are 3 extra discs just sitting in the way. Other than that this is a great set.
