drivers from dvd don't work on 5ghz
2 of 2 found this helpful out of the box, it only works 2.4ghz. I knew because it wasn't picking up my 5ghz router or any of my neighbors while my phones/tablets can.
It's because drivers from dvd don't work properly.
You have to download latest driver from mediatek website to use the 5ghz feature.
Use device manager to check if drivers up to date.
