Excellent movie, closely follows comic book lore.
This was an excellent rendition of the comic book hero. Robert Downy Jr. captures the cocky attitude of Tony Stark and manages to emotionally evolve into the more mature, concerned being that dons the suit of armor. Supporting actors perform equally as well in their respective roles. The only drawbacks were the limited role of Rhodey. In the comics he appeared supported Stark much more than the movie portrays. Also, the movie didn't give much of a background of Stane and why he hated Stark so much, even altering their relationship to fit the limited timeframe of the movie. Looking forward too the sequal and, eventually, the Avengers movie.

The saga of the accidental hero continues.
The adventures of Ralph and his partner in crime-fighting continue in the second season. This is a full season and is wel worth the price to watch as Ralph grows more comfortable with the suit and the abilities it gives him. The only drawback is that the themes tended to play again and again. Every now and then a new ability was discovered but there were never any new chacters introduced to the series. Again and again, Bill & Ralph search out a case and save the day. On a positive, Will katt, Robert Culp, and Connie Sellecca did such a great job in their respective roles that even the not so good scripts became entertaining episodes.

One of best movies ever!
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in the prime of their lives help to make this a truly wonderful viewing event. The plot is a bit far-fetched but entertaining nonetheless. Our hero goes from the "prison" of a factory worker to the freedom of the open seas. Ironically, a death sentence set him free from his self-induced emotional imprisonment. After he learns of his "pending death" he agrees to throw himself into a volcano. On the way their, he undergoes a delightful transformation. His new life brings him into contact with three versions of Meg Ryan. The first two are bazaar but cute. It's the third version that ends up capturing his interest. There's not much actual romance in this movie and the chemistry isn't very strong. But the movie is fun throughout, which maintains the viewer's interest. And the end has an fun, ironic twist that completes the entertainment.
