vintage european style needlework embroidery scissors (copper)

Very nice, comfortable scissors.
Besides being nice to look at, I find these scissors to be very comfortable to use. The finger loops are extra large, which is extremely helpful for my arthritic knuckles. Using normal scissors is just painful anymore, but not these. One of the reasons I bought them was because the example photos included someone holding them and I could see the size of the blades and loops. The other reason was to go with a steampunk desk I'm setting up. They fit into the overall look perfectly.

Great piece of granite but...
The size, weight, and color of this cutting board were exactly what I needed for a craft project. The finish is smooth and shiny, and the quality is what you would expect of granite - HEAVY! The description is not accurate, however. This boards is NOT reversible, unless you consider unpolished granite to be a usable food surface. Plus there are felt pads already attached to the underside, so if you wanted to reverse it you'd have to scrape them off. Since I was planning to use it as the base of something else being reversible didn't matter to me, but I was very surprised when I opened the board and saw the bottom of it. If the description had been honest and accurate I still would have bought it but my rating would have also been a solid five stars. As it is I can't give it the full rating because of the incorrect wording in the title and description, plus I have to wonder what else they sell that might not be described correctly. Still, I do recommend this cutting board if you're okay with only being able to use one side.
