HUGE $$$$ Savings
1 of 1 found this helpful Replacing the tub bearings and seal is a huge savings relative to replacing the whole tub OEM. You do essentially have to take the entire washer apart, but it's not a complex device so don't let that scare you. The video was EXTREMELY helpful. The inner bearing on my washer had seized and wore down the tub shaft. It made removal a bit more difficult (I had to essentially tear the bearing apart by banging on the shaft with a hammer through a piece of wood - see pic), but I was able to build the shaft back up with JB Weld and get the bearings pressed in place. The washer has been used heavily for over a month now without issue.
