The Toddler Cafe

I wasn't paying attention, ordering Christmas gifts, and I thought I was buying a toddler story book. However, it is a COOKBOOK, and my daughter and son-in-law LOVE it. They have 3 toddlers, and two of them are twins. The book has excellent recipes the little ones like, and I got a good price on it, too.

New Testament in comic book patten. Good for children,youth,& adults .

This Bible is absolutely delightful! When my 7-yr-old granddaughter saw that is in the "comic book" genre, she wanted immediately to read. I think that says it all. This book has pictures on every page and can be used by children, youth and adults with limited reading ability.I ordered it to give to a charity, but decided to let the grandchild keep it.

Ulee's Gold

This movie was filmed in North Florida, not far from where I grew up in Southwest Georgia. My 83-year-old father still goes down there to buy his tupelo honey. That is Ulee's gold---tupelo honey, the best honey, but not so easy to produce and make much profit. I saw this movie on a TV movie channel, and knew I just had to buy it for Daddy, if I could find it. Peter Fonda plays the part of Ulee, with his usual excellence. There is a little bit of bad language, spoken by some criminals, but other than that, it's great.
