Great disc and value

Essential background for any LOTR fan
1 of 1 found this helpful Tolkein spent his non-working adult life developing the history of middle earth; his trilogy was a single event in the full story. Silmarillion sketches the full tale and collects a number of highlight stories (eg Beren and Luthien) without getting bogged down in the minutia of Tolkein's thinking/editing/rewriting/reconstructing of every detail, as the more recent Christopher Tolkein-edited series wades through. It is an end-to-end delight!

Works, not unsightly
Improved my reception in a good signal strength area without being unsightly like the old "T" 2-wire antennas. Probably not worth it if you can hide the "T".
