works as a hot spot if you aren't too far from the spot.
1 of 1 found this helpful It is a good value for the open box I wouldn't spend the $350.00 for a new one unless the wifi range was better. It works but the wifi range is rather limited. I'll have to use range extenders just to get from one end of the home to the other. So I'm a little disappointed in that aspect. I would also recommend antennas to help bring in the signal
