Nike Slingshot Tour Hybrid Iron/Wood
This unit is phenomenal. The compact shape and the heavier feeling head allow this club to be easily hit. Using the same mechanics of a long iron swing, you will love how this club forgives and plays for you. I typically hit long irons, though it does take effort to get that perfect launch. When I bought all new clubs, I thought I would get the matching hybrid a shot. This is like getting a nice 2 iron shot but getting the same result with a lot less effort. This club has a firm *thwack* (or a dead feeling at impact) more so than some hybrids I have used, but do not mistake this feeling for lack of performance. The Mitsubishi shaft (Regular Flex) is very consistent and the quality is top notch. I have had no trouble hitting this club right on the sweet spot from day one. The only downside to the hybrids is the grips. You may want to replace the grip to meet your standards. The Nike grips, though they look nice, are not the top of the line grips out there, but they will do. If you are a fader/slicer and require generous offset this is definitely the club for you. The Slingshot's feel, versatility from a variety of lies, and solid (and solid-feel) technology make it a strong contender in the hybrid market, and I would definitely recommend picking up this club here on eBay.

Guitar Hero III is a worthy sequal for the XBOX 360
Graphics - 8/10 For what the game is, you are not buying this game to play for the graphics – though Activision was able to make the animations more vibrant, and a more noticeable experience. Sound – 10/10 The track list for this game, along with the original recordings (including the reunited Sex Pistols!) is a must have. You will get lost in involvement when playing this game. This is one of the best soundtracks in a game to date. Gameplay – 9/10 Though under new “ownership”, Activision has taken this game this game down a similar road, but with a new car. With slight improvements in the display hud, the notifications of streaks, and the “star power” activators easier to get, this game is fun. Plain and simple. Replay Value - 10/10 When you see the achievement list, it will make you achievement “gatherers” play this game again and again to get the full 1000/1000. Plus with the addition of online multiplayer, content downloads, and competitive play – it will hard not to play this game over and over. This is a worthy sequel. Overall - 9/10 There are a few new tweaks to the actual gameplay, and it feels a bit easier to play (except some of the very final songs), but this game follows the old saying “if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it”. The song list, along with the new guitar, is stellar. With all the original, or master, tracks that are in this game, it is hard not to enjoy this game if you are a fan of rhythm or music games. The new wireless “Gibson” guitar is heavier, more durable, and the closest thing to a real guitar peripheral that I have felt. I must say that this is a nice controller, and I did not want to put it down. I applaud Activision’s attention to detail. I highly recommend this bundle.

Bomberman: Act Zero is a stinkbomb that you don't want
Graphics: Below Average - 2/5 Took a classic, tried to revamp it, and killed it… Gameplay: Below Average - 2/5 The controls are alright, but they took many things away from this game, and the online is seriously lacking. Sound: Below Average - 2/5 Below average. Replay Value: Bad - 1/5 Get the achievements and run. No one is online to play with anyway. Bomberman is a game that is a classic. Fun little robots running around trying to blow each other up. The appeal falls into an addictive heads up game that leaves players searching for power-ups and well placed bombs to dismember each other. This was a great game in the 90’s, but Konami’s meager outing for Bomberman on the XBOX 360 is pretty bad. Trying to juice things up, Bomberman: Act Zero only brings a scratch to this great franchise. Previous installments on previous systems had there faults, but still managed to make breath some fresh air into this aging series. This XBOX 360 version tries to vamp up the character interfaces, the actions, and the movements, taking away the thing that made the original Bomberman games fun, its simplicity. To charge gamers $50+ retail for this train wreck is a big mistake. You would expect a game like this to come out on the DS or PSP, and be fun – but not on the 360 where it just drags. Though it is not the worst game out there, it does do disjustice to the Bomberman games of past. As a big fan of the Bomberman games, and almost failing my freshman year because of the series, it is dispointing to see this game. If you must, rent it and play it, but for $50+ after tax, this is one that you should wait to go to $20 or get it dirt cheap on EBAY. OVERALL Average: 7/20 = 1.75/5 = 35% Sorry Bomberman, you failed to make the grade. This should have been an XBOX Live arcade release.
