Great A string for violin!
I watched/listened to a video on YouTube by the owner of White Horse Music in Australia comparing several violin strings on the same violin. The Pirastro Tonica is one of his favorites--puts them on nearly all of the violins he sells. When he demo'd this string, he brought to your attention how it rings out even after you draw the bow over it and lift it off. And, it does! It's a beautiful sounding string and great for the price. I'm not a professional and was away from playing for about 40 years so I am not experienced at all about strings. But, I have been playing a lot in an orchestra for the past 7 years and love how this string responds as compared to the Dominant strings I was using. I haven't been able to tell yet whether they are "soft on the fingers" as he said because I've been playing way more than usual lately for a musical and fingers are a bit sore right now, but that is one reason I decided to try them. I can't wait to get a whole set but might get a different E string as some people suggest.

If you want to get rid of tomato skins, this is the tool for you! Just remember to roast them first if you want less water in your sauce.
Grape tomatoes have very tough skins and we felt we needed to skin them before putting into a tomato sauce. However, I failed to notice in different recipes that they should be roasted first. Since I did not roast them first, it was very watery after using my new mill. It worked just fine; just resulted in too much water that I had to cook down for a long time. Since my husband insisted on "helping" me, I didn't really get a feel for it. I think he was putting too few tomatoes in there so they tended to get pushed around. I think that if you put more in there, it would work much better.

Affresh removed an odor in my washer.
I hadn't use it in a while and an there was an odor. This Affresh product took care of it.
