Army of Two - Not Just Another Buddy Game
I have been wanting to get Army of Two since I saw the first trailers over a year ago. It was a game my friend and I wanted to play because the premise looked like something we'd be in to. The graphics are great, with well rendered textures and effects, and detail in places you wouldn't normally see in other games. Animation of the characters and enemies are top notch and react well to physics (ie. explosions, falling over). Sound is well done with ambiance in the background and being able to hear your teammate during all the shooting and explosions. Nothing really stands out in this department as the audio sounds like most other shooters out there. Controls aren't too shabby. It took a little time to get used to how to change my weapons, so now I'm down with that learning curve. Response is accurate in moving and shooting, so there are no problems there. The game is pretty entertaining for the most part, but there are some frustrating spots here and there. The AI does a fairly decent job most of the time, but sometimes does what it wants despite you giving it orders. This is where you need a real-life person to take control. That is probably the best part of the game. You and a friend going through the game just kicking butt and being able to talk to each other while doing it. This is the core of the game and I believe its spot-on with its execution. If you want a shooter game and would rather have someone else help you fight through it, this is your game. Get the game, grab a friend, and go take out some bad guys!
DIYPC MA01-G Black SPCC MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case
    Dec 16, 2016
Small form factor, so watch the space
First thing first: MicroATX case with 2 fans. Front 120mm and rear 80mm. You could add another side 120mm, but if you use regular HDDs, then don't do it. I had a 550 watt Ultra PSU that I needed to install, and I found out that the 5.25" cage actually interferes with the outlet on the PSU. Now, this may not be an issue with modular PSU's, but I had to push mine up to make it fit. Now, that goes into another issue... I'm not using an optical drive. I have an external, which actually helps me out with this case. I rather like not having a DVD drive because I push my unused wires from my power supply in its place. Keep this in mind if you plan on wanting to use it. The hard drive rack is pretty cool. You can actually remove it from the side, but I realized that I couldn't put on my SATA power connector because my RAM was in the way if you use the 3.5" slot under the optical drive. I assume that if you use 90 degree cables, it might work. Instead, I went and used the rack and you mount the drive sideways. This makes the airflow in the case VERY good as the drive is basically out of the way. The case is super quiet with the included fans and my PSU doesn't make any noise as well. After running the computer (using an FM2 board and an AMD A8-6600K) for a little while, the temps were around 50 celsius. Now that could also include that the room I was in was warm, so it would most likely hove around the 40's with the included fans. All in all, a great product for my kids to just use as a computer to play on. Space was my concern and I bought my boys similar type cases, but they have more fans added since they use them all the time. Totally recommend this to anyone not really wanting to use an optical drive and just as a media PC or cheap gaming computer.
