A Good Buy, But I Prefer Unweighted Sets
I'm a big fan of tournament chess sets because the oversized pieces really improve the playing experience. The roll up boards with coordinate markings are a big plus, too, for portability and recording moves during play.
This is the first weighted chess set that I have bought--before now I only bought unweighted sets. Weighted means that each piece has a metal weight inside it that makes it heavier.
What I didn't expect is that the weights were a little loose inside the pieces, which means that they rattle around slightly if shaken. You might not notice if you weren't looking for it.
Not a huge deal, but based on this, I think I prefer unweighted tournament chess sets that have hollow plastic pieces.

Great Feel, Great Value
At this price, I got two sets of two, for four balls. They have a great feel in hand, and I use them for pre/post-workout mobilization. Perfect for the fitness uses described by Dr. Kelly Starrett.

Simple, Tough, Not Too Bulky
Exactly what I was looking for: something simple and tough, but without being too bulky. The case itself seems well made, and I expect it to last for the life of the phone.
