Not the best
Hard to apply w/o air bubbles, got dirty easily and was hard to clean. Broke after a few weeks while cleaning it. Maybe it's common w/ these but I was not impressed.

MIK adapter plate for non-MIK items
If you need to attach something to an MIK carrier plate that's not an MIK product or doesn't have the MIK configuration already, this plate will allow you to do so.

Zi8 is good for what it is
The Zi8 is a solid little HD camera that does a decent job of recording HD video as long as the light conditions are good. Its optics have been surpassed by most smartphones, which is why Kodak discontinued it, so why bother with it? Because it has a tripod mounting thread and it has an external audio jack, two features that are rare in mobile phones but nice to have if you want to step up your game w/ regard to recording video. I like this camera for what it is, a simple-to-use no-frills pocket-sized HD camera that's not professional but can come in handy in certain situations.
