Looks good but expensive
It boils quickly enough and is good to look at.
Some of the plastic looks cheap altho sturdy enough.
The boiling action is violent and too long before it turns off . Also, the boiling action causes the kettle to move on the base.
It is in our opinion a very expensive kettle at the Recommended trade value.

Not suitable for purpose and poor quality
The problem with this item is the swing lid remains upright and does not close. Also, the lid when held down does not fit the body of the bin and would allow insects and flies into the container.
I would have returned this item except I would have had to pay the postage.
