TIVO series 2 DVRS make great boat anchors if they have not been previously activated.
TIVO no longer supports activation on this level (series 2) DVR. So it makes a great boat anchor, but some effort should be made by EBAY to validate products that are sold through their channels. TIVO series 2 DVRS should not
be sold through EBAY unless they have been previously activated.
