Simply Priced and Simple to Use
For the price, I find it very simple to assemble and use. It pumps water better than the battery operated pump I got before this. The plastic construction seems a little flimsy; but, up until now, it is performing a lot more consistent than the old battery operated pump. However, there is one small problem. The pump does not fit well on the top of my 5-gallon bottles...a little loose, cannot secure any tighter, and almost seems like it may break at any time. This is the part that appears to be flimsy, poorly made. Still, it does the job...(so far).

Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver Ed Graphic Calc
I bought the TI-84 for my child and their intermediate math classes, but opted to use the TI-83 because it was easier use. The TI-83 is sufficient for the early learning years. The TI-84 will compliment the later years through high school and into college...until a newer model is introduced with more functions, applications, far more speed than you'll ever need, and more than sufficient memory.

Microsoft Office XP (2001)
Textbook rated average because most of it can be learned in the classroom, which is highly dependent on how good the instructor is. It's good for referencing outside of the classroom. Computers are consistently updated sooner than textbooks are, so a lot can be outdated material. One good thing is that the newer Windows Vista is not to everyone's preference and the older XP's are still being sold with new computers. Although it's still okay for the classroom, it still needs to be updated if XP will continue to exist.
