Good switch, lots of range. The plunger will slide inside the housing to allow the door to close all the way. Not something most of these will do.

Do serious research as to what this fits.
This is tricky. The part did not fit my tractor. The part is probably fine if it fits your application. It did not fit my 550 Oliver. No one's fault, just not much reliable info out there as to what fits. If you have a 550 Oliver with standard steering, this shaft does not interchange. Shaft dia. is too big, splined end is too big, and the teeth on the steering nut are different. A complete steering gear assy. will fit,but a different steering wheel is needed to fit this style shaft. Also be aware that the Ford steering gear assy. will change your Oliver 550 steering ratio. Less revolutions lock to lock, but much harder steering.
