Surprisingly Nice for the Money - Nice Period

For about $15 with free shipping this is a ridiculous value. It did not come sharp and I feared for the price it might not take much of an edge, but 15 minutes on Japanese waterstones and it took a nice edge indeed, push-cutting phone book paper and shaving arm hair easily. Given the price, I wouldn't be surprised if the steel isn't the most durable, so touch ups might be more frequent than some, but I'd say the heat treat was done right and the fit and finish are very, very nice for this price. Also, the sheath is better, tougher and more finely stitched than I expected. Get the feeling I'm satisfied? Absolutely so.
