Soft Steel
0 of 1 found this helpful A knife is mostly useless if the steel is not hardened. This knife is a good design but the steel hardness measured a 40 on the Rockwell C scale. That’s real close to the annealed condition. Should be around 57-60 on the Rockwell C scale. This knife would only be for looks. It wouldn’t hold up to any level of work.
