Ball Blue book for canning
I have several canning books, Ball, Kerr and Atlas, have the best directions of any canning books. This one is from 1953, I wouldn't advise this one for a beginner as many things have changed. Unless you can understand the differences. It's a great booklet to have and I can go back and see the difference in canning over the years.

Gardens in Review
This book has lots of information for the novice or experienced gardener , I highly recommend this book. It will be one you'll be able to reference for basic information
