It is amazing!
Hands down one of the best cameras you can get right now. Professional image quality and features at a consumer price point. Easy to carry, all-in-one camera. The lens... just awesome.

Not so low tier
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an excellent camera all around. Often professionals try to sell this one as an entry-level DSLR or a consumer only oriented camera. But I think this is wrong. As a professional, i've enjoyed using the Nikon D5500 for nearly every situation a professional photographer could possibly think, like shooting weddings, portraits at the studio, landscape and also shooting videos. The image quality is excellent, it is on par with what everyone else considers "professional" gear. The video quality is great, and the camera is so light and easy to use its a joy to use it.
Highly recommend it.

Best Canon L lens for the price
Excellent overall lens. For sports, portrait and wildlife this is an amazing, super sharp lens that you absolutely need to get.
