When I contacted seller, they replied that they were certain it was in same condition as it was pictured. So, rather than guess what that was meant to deflect, I decided to return item. Returns are a pain in the tushy. So I am not going to get it returned to this LOUSY PACKER- in time- cuz I have a life. A life that would be MUCH easier if people weren t so arrogant & careless. Schrade quality is not what it used to be.
If you want made in the USA quality, buy a "vintage" Made in the USA Schrade knife, because the ones that are now being made in China have typical Chinese quality--- none.
