Insignia Digital to Analog TV Tuner Converter Box No Remote - Model NS-DXA1

Great for picking up channels, just don't expect the unit to last too long. This is my third one..

This is my third Insignia converter so long lasting is not one of its strong points. It does however have a pretty strong signal and you don't have to move the antenna around to pick up the main networks. Fortunately I held onto my remote from my first Insignia. My second and third Insignias came with no remote. What the hell are people doing with the remotes, selling them separately... I just returned a Mediasonic converter box that was rated pretty high but I couldn't get CBS regardless of where I put the antenna! Even ABC and NBC were hard enough to find a spot for the antenna to bring them both in with a good signal
