1000 watts, NOPE.
If I put a true 1000 watts on this speaker I would be wearing the cone as a hat cause it would hop right out of the frame!!! I’m running a PPI power class PC275 on it bridged. So 2ohm about 600W volume almost off, low pass and I smoked the first one I had, smoked it like a big ‘ol bowl! The first one I received the dust cap came loose after about two weeks of play and became completely useless. Don’t get me wrong these 8’s sound awesome but 1000 watts is a BIG B I G stretch.

Awesome.
My wife loves these, so much more than the round “jewel” kind. She can wear these all day and they don’t irritate her at all. I would absolutely buy these again!!
