The subtitle "Witness to History" says it best. An interesting man he is.
I have become a fan of LaPierre since reading "City of Joy". He has lead an interesting life. He writes like the reporter he is and brings a very human perspective to his life and times. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the human condition.

Strength of Character, Determination, Perseverance
1 of 1 found this helpful A story about determination against overwhelming odds and depravation and what it took for nine men to form a team and take on world class athletes. The inspiring tale of one of those men is worth the read.

Too few species. Not worth the time, money, effort.
Very few bird shown in this book. One was listed as living primarily in Texas (?) What don't I understand?
