Nice box
Having spent part of my life as a professional histologist, my expectations may not be the same as others. But, I do expect that living materials should be well fixed so that the biological detail can be seen; well impregnated so that the material does not shatter or break; well oriented so that the sections pass through a well-chosen plane; well sectioned so that the sections are thin, without knife-marks, or chattering; well stained to show the most relevant features; sections should be mounted unfolded, and be central under the coverslip; and the mounting material should be clean and clear. Yet I doubt if all of those crteria were satisfied in any slide. Some low grade insights are evident from the slides, but this is so far away from what could have been. But one good thing is that the containing box is very nice. As it will never be opened again, I'll find a good use for it, propping up some piece of microscope gear. So, do not expect to be pleased, but you won't find much better at this price either.
