More like a spiritual experience than just a movie

Ray Bradbury’s favourite science fiction film. Spielberg has admitted he couldn’t even have written this at any other time in his life ! Please do yourself a favour and don’t watch the so-called “Special Edition”. Stock the the original version, which is actually still better than the Director’s Cut also.

Still Bold

Still using one of these in 2018. If your carrier supports BIS (with my Canadian carrier BIS is simply bundled into every data plan @ no extra cost) & you aren’t an app or gaming hound, but use a phone mostly for communication, this is a perfect little utensil. Sometimes the native browser won’t load a page or site, but Opera Mini is free & available in the BlackBerry app world, & it works great. Emails are fast and efficient. Text works great & the only limitation is that emojis haven’t been updated if that matters to you. Call quality is excellent, better than with my iPhone 6S Plus, & I’ve found this little phone gets a signal where my iPhone does not. Don’t ask me why, but that’s been the experience. Until BIS is shut down and emails won’t function (rumour is the end of next year) this is my go to telephone. NB: If you use your phone a lot for navigation (I do not) this might not be for you.

Classic is a classic

No doubt about it, despite being discontinued sidelined by its own creator, there is no better physical keyboard phone on the market. If what you concentrate on is phone calls (crystal clear) & email & text, this is the phone for you! It’s a powerhouse; you could write a whole novel on this thing. If you want the latest apps & toys & distractions, there is plenty of other phones to do that
