nice system upgrade if you need it

great system update if needed. installed the 9260ngw to upgrade Dell laptop which shipped with low end N-only adapter. now I could take full advantage of my AC/N Mixed mode access point

TP-Link TL-WR1043ND V1 300 Mbps 4-Port Wireless N Router

great little 802.11n router

If you don't require the 5GHz band and could get by with the 2.4GHz band this an excellent router at a great value IMO. You could upgrade to TL-WR1043NDv2 (version 2, Black cased router) for a few dollars more with the 5GHz band but I prefer this one. I re-flashed the router with dd-wrt so we have more options than the factory firmware provides. So to conclude if you only require the 2.4 band this is a nice value. It has excellent wireless range and low power consumption but YMMV
