Invigorating

RICH IN EVERY ASPECT
1 of 1 found this helpful FINE STORY, EXCELLENT ACTORS, ONE OF THE BEST SERIES OF PBS MASTERPIECE. THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL BRITISH UPSTAIRS/DOWNSTAIRS LONG BEFORE DOWNTON ABBEY,WHICH WAS A POOR WATERED DOWN COPY OF UPSTAIRS/DOWNSTAIRS IN TERMS OF DEPTH OF STORY. THE LONG DIALOGUE SEQUENCES ARE CLASSICS THAT AUDIENCES WILL NOT SEE AGAIN.
UPSTAIRS IS NOT A SOAP OPERA.
