Awesome Design... Terrible Transformation
I really like the robot and helicopter design work - it looks really good in both robot and helicopter mode. The weaponry and blades coming off the back are really cool, and the details in the copter mode are really good.
The transformation, however, was absolutely no fun... it was too technical and picky - there are small plasticky clips for things to fit in, you have to bend arms and legs at odd angles for them to get them to fit and then the pieces pop in and out of position easily..
It took me over 30 mins to transform him the first time... I had to watch a video online of someone changing him to be able to complete he transformation, and I'm not even sure I did the legs completely right in helicopter mode.
Now that he's changed, I have no desire to change it back.
The robot is Leader Class, so he's larger than standard transformers, which is cool. I've got mine in helicopter mode, and he'll probably stay that way until we part ways.
