Clear, simple instructions with useful substitution ideas
The book is a great one. Clear and simple instructions for one-dish meals. One of the things I love is that most recipes come with a list of recommended variations and substitutions. One favorite recipe is for Sesame Pings, what I think of as a Chinese "bagel." Delicious. And a cross-cultural variation we've created is to substitute feta cheese for the scallion and bacon filling. It works!
I've used the book for about 40 years (!) and my old copy is literally falling apart. I decided to avoid the panic of those stained pages getting lost, so decided to buy a new copy -- and one for a dear cooking friend.

Above expectations!
I haven't used the pattern yet and believe it will be fine. The response time was amazingly fast from Angela's Gifts and I appreciate the wrapping and sweet message enclosed with the pattern. Above expectations!
