Great Frequency Counter with Limitations.
This is a very capable frequency counter with a couple limitations:.
It is not a reciprocal counter, so the resolution in the audio range and below is limited by the gate time. For low frequency measurements, the DC509 reciprocal counter may be a better option.
It is not high precision due to the limitations of its internal time base. Accuracy better than 1ppm requires the option 01 OCXO, which provides 0.01ppm stability. An external frequency standard can be readily connected by using ratio A/B mode.
Within these limitations, this is a very nice instrument.

This is an excellent high-gain (1X to 100.000X) external scope preamp. The adjustable LPF and HPF functions allow you to see small low-frequency signals hidden under large amounts of wideband noise.and AC line hum.
