A Tool Every Presenter Should Have!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you regularly do presentations (such as PowerPoint), this handy device is what you need. Rather than requiring an assistant to advance the slides or trying to clumsily use a wireless mouse, this remote will enable you, the presenter, to easily do it all yourself while staying out of the way of the screen. You can start the presentation, go forward or reverse, or black out the screen. The built-in green laser pointer helps you to bring items to the attention of the audience. The laser pointer works best on projection screens, but has some limited success with large video displays depending on the angle of use and type of glass on the screen. The R800 also has a timer that can be programmed to vibrate to remind you of your time limit.
Even better, there is NO software to load or any setup required. Just insert the receiver into a USB port on your computer and you're ready to go.
I managed a large conference center facility for several years and our clients really appreciated us having the R800 available. In fact, I liked it so much that I personally purchased one for use with my own presentations. Only one caveat: be sure to shut off the remote after each use to avoid prematurely draining the batteries.
