Still my favorite mouse after 20 years
This has been my favorite mouse since Microsoft first released the Intellimouse Optical twenty years ago. In the tech world to stick with one product that long is extremely rare. For me the original tracking of the optical mouse was amazing compared to the old ball tracking system. The intellimouse was ambidextrous and perfect for large hands with the buttons perfectly placed. They were always a little stiff straight out of the box, especially the scroll wheel feels clunky but after a month or two it smoothes out. This one is probably a knockoff but frankly I don't care. It works perfectly and will by my mouse probably for another five years of more. I've only had four since the release in 1999.
My only hesitation about the purchase is a little quibble with the description. Calling it a gaming mouse is not accurate to my way of thinking. I've seen real gamers and their devices track at insane speeds and accuracies, have a bazillion buttons not four and the scroll wheel so to me that isn't quite accurate. However for me as a graphics person and for general all around use it is perfect.
