If you really want a Convair Metropolitan Kit
The quality of the castings is dreadful however I believe with enough patience and filler you can put together a nice model.
If I hadn’t made a career of operating Convairs I’m not sure I would put in the effort. The kit has the original nose, an original nose with the McMillan or Norton pimple radome and the Remmert Warner Glove Nose. It also has the 440 small hole Remmert Warner cowling with the mufflers, which make it a 440, not the nose. For the money it really is just a good base upon which to make a model. It’s a shame the pax door does not open and there isn’t an air stair.
I will paint it up as one of our old Delta girls N4826C that we operated out of Fort Lauderdale as Florida Aircraft Leasing Corp. she was a born 440 S/N391.

Jolly Good
A pair of classic films from the nineteen sixties. Both film have a plot where family politics are central to the tension in the character's lives. Both stories take place in the Pacific and are a great studies of sixties morals. These definitely rate four snaps up!
