I LOVE THIS BIRD!
Way too cute for words, this puppet is as true as a character that will especially delight the young can be to a real American Kestrel. He (it is a male bird from the markings) fits on a child's hand or on a smaller adult one easily and gives a great impression of the quivering, hovering mode this bird assumes when focusing on his prey. The big feet are very kestrel-like, the underside of the wings glow and the coloration is just perfect.
A secret to making him 'fly' - put him on your hand so that your palm and his wings face you. To make him 'hover' and to move his head - palm down towards his tummy.
