Roomba 880- A new permanent feature in our home

I bought this as a present for the family for Christmas. I was tired of vacuuming or begging and/or arguing with our children to get some help around the house. When the Roomba first ran, I was not sure how good of a job it would do. I saw it go over some items and not pick them up but decided to give it a chance. 2 hours later I emptied the bin and it was completely full. By the way, in further swipes of the floor it did end up picking up the items missed previously. We currently have the Roomba set up to clean every day at 10am (the ability to schedule is a fabulous feature) and it rarely disappoints. The bin is always full. With a dog and a cat, two kids that track in dirt and mud this machine is a game changer. Hopefully, it will last. We have since named our Roomba 880 "Whizzy Crush Jr." and consider it an important member of our household.
