good low cost mainstream storage

While my machine is UEFI, I found that desktop Windows will not use GPT so that this disk will not be fully used. I already have a pair of 2 TB disks, so I installed this disk as a data disk and it works fine in that role. My Corsair Carbide 300R chassis allows for 4 disks installed so its not a problem to have abundant storage.

3-pin fan extension cables

Many times fan cables are too short to reach fan headers on motherboards. Extension cables can make it possible to run fans under the motherboard tray to the appropriate header. convert one usb 2.0 header to 4 new headers

The USB 2.0 hub works well but the power is limited. It would have been much better with a SATA header beside the inputs to provide addition 5V current. Most motherboards do not provide much power to USB 2.0 ports. Most use these USB 2.0 hubs to support additional front panel devices such as radios for mice or keyboards etc.
